FASHIONISTA: EP 1- FALL TRENDS

This is Rae. Today I decided to go for a slightly different topic : new fashion trends in the fall 2021. Obviously, fashion is not a permanent thing since trendsetters come and go and bring new trends with them. This year witnessed plenty of new fashion items, some new and some an improvisation of the classics. Firstly , for the fall are the suitcoats. The women have adopted boyish fashions and styled their tops and pants with a coat or cardigan – either tucked into the vest or a long coat with a small handbag which is the perfect smart businesswoman look and also chic. Second is the cropped jacket look.This is a relatively new trend which is gaining popularity. People wear cropped shirts or tops and instead of wearing sagging jackets, they make the jacket cropped and pair it with pantsuits to make the overall look modern and sophisticated. Third is the complementary colour style. People are not wearing bright or decorative patterns but they are wearing monochrome colors where the top and bottom are contrasting to each other like mustard and deep orange or bubblegum pink and lavender. Last but not least is ofcourse the black outfits. Black has always been a fashionable colour choice since it can be made to look casual and elegant. People are wearing black suits, pants, gowns or skirts which go remarkably well with any other colour, preferably neutral. That was all.
